Context
A functional testing software for a range of products dedicated to generator control, that provides time saving on test campains twice a year, for new firmware versions.
Mission
  • Software development in javascript with Node.JS, which communicates with a generator simulation and a generator controller Gensys COMPACT through Modbus TCP, to configure both products, to create test scenarios.
  • Use of Selenium IDE to drive the Gensys COMPACT configuration software (I4gen suite).
  • Automated tests of Gensys COMPACT firmware and I4gen suite software.
  • Result : 4 to 6 weeks of manual tests done in only 24h, more varied scenario, use of generator simulation instead of three-phase 400V generator.
